RHEINBACHER PREMIUM PILS
22nd October 2016 – Review by Andy
At 4.8% in strength this German pilsner lager is a touch stronger than it’s English cousin Carling and similar lagers.
The smell is that of it could be almost any lager from any country. The taste very smooth with a gentle fizz to it and it leaves a refreshing aftertaste.
This is a session lager if ever I’ve tasted one, could easily drink many of these and at a strength that wouldn’t ruin you too early into proceedings.
As far as lagers goes this is very decent, ticks all the boxes and is a typical decent German pilsner.
