Using only the finest ingredients and brewed to a traditional German recipe of top fermentation, Rheinbacher Weissbier is a cloudy beer with a distinct aroma and unique flavour – and is best served in a tall glass, at around 8-10ºC.
A Premium German wheat beer, cheap and cheerful at just £1.25 from my local Aldi. I’ve tried a beer before from Rheinbacher and there wasn’t much wrong with it, so how would this go down?
Definitely cloudy when poured, got the smell of a wheat beer, tastes great, plenty of flavour in there, tastes every bit of its 5% strength, so many flavours in there this is very nice indeed.
If you enjoy an over-priced Hoegaarden, think double the price of this, then go and grab yourself a few bottles of this, it stands up handsomely to its pricey brother, and in comparison is an absolute bargain, the only problem you’ll have is finding it once Aldi undoubtedly stops stocking it.
