Review by Rob
A rich, dark winter warmer.
Deep & smoky with port-wine notes.
Rich chocolate & raisin finish.
A dark, velvety stout with a complex chocolate and spice finish. Beautifully balanced with sweet raisin notes.
The Black Sheep Brewery is situated in the beautiful Yorkshire dales and is renowned for producing great quality beers. The brewers use Challenger and Fuggles hops along with chocolate malt to give a distinctive aroma to complement the warming spice.
Finally we have some info from Sainsbury’s for one of their beers, hooray!
A dark rich winter warmer, deep & smoky with port-wine notes. Rich chocolate & raisin finish. Colour of a decent stout, smell of a decent stout, body & depth too, finally taste is where it should be, as per label and really quite nice, top marks from the Black Sheep Brewery and the best bottle I think I’ve ever had from them – and it’s brewed for Sainsbury’s at £1.50 a bottle!
Wow well this is a turn up for the books, this really is quite good, a near perfect winter brew, considering the price this gets top marks from me, go out and find! In fact you can put them in my stocking filler I won’t complain!
