PISTONHEAD KUSTOM LAGER
Review by Andy
PISTONHEAD HAS BEEN CRAFTED BY SPECIALIST BREW MASTERS AT THE AWESOME “BRUTAL BREWING” WORKSHOP IN SWEDEN SINCE 2011.
THE FOLKS THAT CREATE PISTONHEAD ARE SERIOUS ABOUT BREWING, BUT NOT SERIOUS ABOUT MUCH ELSE. THE SIMPLE MISSION IS TO CREATE GREAT BREWS AND HAVE FUN!
PISTONHEAD SUPPORTS CREATIVITY, INDIVIDUALITY, ROCK ‘N’ ROLL ATTITUDES AND GREAT TIMES!
THAT PRETTY MUCH SUMS IT UP. HOPEFULLY THIS MEANS WE CAN SHARE SOME FUN TIMES WITH YOU!
Been looking forward to trying this, described as a lager beer and brewed at 4.6%, turn over to the back and I can’t even be bothered to describe it all to you. Too many ‘double-clutch’ and ‘injected with’ management style buzz words for my liking.
The smell is non-descript, tastes decent enough to be fair, more on the lager side than anything although this does have a fair amount of depth to it than your standard lager.
Very refreshing and to try and describe I would put this towards 80% lager and 20% craft beer ish to the taste. Decent enough, if you love a lager you’ll love this, however my one serious gripe is the coke can size, we want 500ml+ something to really get into, rather than a couple of gulps and it’s gone.
