Introducing Pedigree, or “P” as it was first known. Strange that looking back. Anyway, it has a fascinating aroma. Palate of biscuity malt, spicy hops and light fruitiness. It was renamed in a staff competition back in George Peard’s day. He’s significant as he was our Head Brewer at the time – that’s him in the bottle. Cheers George
Or he would be if I had drunk one of the new designs!
A deep copper in colour and a fairly mild smell of fresh malty beer. A slightly fruity taste this is a tasty fresh smooth Ale and had an ever so slight bitter aftertaste.
This is pleasant, I can find no fault with this, it is very nice indeed and one I’d imagine would be brilliant on a well kept pump. I’d be happy to drink this all night, which tells you all you need to know.
