ST. PETER’S BREWERY
Review by Rob
ST. PETER’S SAY…
A clean crisp lightly carbonated copper coloured traditional English ale. This ale is made with organically grown Venture malted barley, organic Marynka and First Gold hops and St. Peter’s own single strand yeast variety. It has a pleasing aroma of apples with hints of dark marmalade on the palate. Won Bronze Medal at The International Beer Challenge 2016! Also won Silver at The Global Beer Masters 2016!
Brewed with skill and patience in one of Britain’s finest small breweries.
Comes in a beautiful flask shaped oval bottle which is a faithful copy of one produced c.1770 for some bloke. A very nice bottle indeed with a raised St. Peter’s logo, very expensive looking. This bottle gives a good indication to the beer inside, certainly made with care.
Taste is very good, a good quality beer to start you night with, in fact, if someone bought you a case of this they must love you very much indeed. I could quite happily neck a few of these after a hard days work, would certainly be perfect consumed on a beautiful summers day over a BBQ.
Light in colour like an IPA but a delicate character is a good description, more than an IPA, a classy refined beer, go out and find – recommended.
