An American IPA with a bitter edge that will push your citrus tolerance to the brink and back; Elvis Juice is loaded with tart pithy grapefruit peel. This IPA has a caramel malt base, supporting a full frontal citrus overload – grapefruit peel piled on top of intense us aroma hops. Waves of crashing pine, orange and grapefruit round out this citrus infused IPA.
Break out the rhinestone suit, Gas up the Cadillac, and take this fruit farm for a test drive down sunset strip. Packing more fruit than the state of California, our citrus caped crusader will obliterate your senses.
A zest zenith on the nose. Fruity foreplay gives way to an all out sensory assault. A truck load of grapefruit, orange and peach collide in an inter-state pile up. A fruity, hoppy cocktail of flavour builds to a crescendo and a bitter finale leaves you screaming for more. Elvis has left the building.
This is a fruity grapefruit IPA, strength is half decent, just tastes like someone has dumped a whole grapefruit in my beer. Overpowering to the point where if you love grapefruit and IPA style beers this will be right up your street.
This is meant to be a fruity drink, so I can’t moan that it’s not what’s promised, however for me this misses the spot, I’m not a great lover of grapefruit and I suspect with the hip and trendy label, this beer is aimed at the yoof of today to ween them off the alcopops and onto something half decent as a craft beer. But for me it’s a miss, as Al Murray says, white wine or fruit based drinks for the ladies, so by that gauge this is a ladies drink.
