Watch out for the Goose, her hiss is far worse than her bite, though she might drive you clucking mad, underneath it all she’s not that bad.
Mad Goose (4.2% ABV, IBU48) is a zesty pale ale with a smooth and citrusy finish. Brewed with English Maris Otter, Caragold and Wheat malts, with Pilgrim bittering hops and Cascade and Willamette aroma hops. Winner of five awards.
A very light copper in colour and a fairly bubbly beer this one for a pale ale, with a fruity aroma and a slightly citrusy, zingy flavour, leaving a gooseberry aftertaste. Fresh and fruity with the over-riding flavour of the gooseberry lingering, easy to drink with plenty of hops coming through.
A decent enough fruity, floral tasting Ale, your typical ‘funky’ pale ale that are fairly common these days. Nice and fresh, perfect for those summer BBQs coming up, a bit too much of a zesty flavour for my personal liking, but a decent enough beer that I enjoyed, nonetheless.
